ink and fashion

I am think about Anne Tavoletti's ink fashion illustrations. I went to Dillard's today and I saw some of her prints lying around a price stand. They were really beautiful ink drawings. She really lets her ink be ink and not over work her drawings.

So with that in mind, I practiced some ink drawings.

I did this one first. But I thought it was too stiff and grey...

I like this one better. But I ruined it with such a stiff and unexpressive head.

There's still a long way to go.
